SYDNEY IS A REALLY FUN CITY

by Bob Anderson

Catherine and I had flown in on Friday May 26. It was a 14 hour flight and after a night sleep we were ready for the shoot. Vlatka was flying in from Australia and she just arrived by taxi.

Public transportation in Sydney is great. In fact, I was almost sorry I had rented a car. Parking is a major issue downtown. There are signs everywhere saying you have to pay to park. I did finally find a spot that worked but after getting a parking ticket earlier.

We had not met Vlatka before and she was just as nice as we thought she would be. She checked into our headquarters hotel, the Russell.

We had met David Willis a couple of years ago at the Ujena Bikini Jam in Mexico. He brought along Melissa, a model that lives in Sydney,

David and Catherine went to work on the models to get them ready. We would start the shoot right outside the hotel. Then we would walk over to the pier that over looks the Opera House. What a great view.

We shot until about 1pm and then stopped for lunch. We ate in the Italian Village over looking the harbour.

After lunch we continued working our way toward the Opera House and the Botanical gardens. At this time of the year the sun sets at about 5:30pm and we called it a day.

We had shot about 2,000 images and we got what we wanted.

It was about 7pm by the time we got back to the hotel. David and Melissa had to take off but Vlatka, Catherine and I got dressed up.

The Sydney Cafe was a great spot to unwind and enjoy the evening. We enjoyed our meals and had a nice bottle of Australian red.

David joined us after dinner and we relaxed with a couple of drinks and talked about the day shoot.

The next day we took off to Manly, just a 30 minute ferry ride away. The beach was really nice and we got a lot of good photos there.

Vlatka's flight was about 7pm and we rushed her to the airport. We had been together for less than 36 hours but covered a lot of ground.

We are looking forward in returning to Australia in January for the first Bikini Jam down under. Join us there.

I WAS EXCITED TO BE PART OF THIS TOUR

by Vlatka

Hi, My name is Vlatka and I am from Melbourne,Australia. I was very pleased when Bob Anderson asked me to be a part of the Ujena Fashion Photo Tour in Sydney, Australia.

It was great meeting him and working with Catherine. She did my make-up great, guided me and really looked after me. We got some awesome photos and videos out of it, and it was also great fun!

Bob asked me to be staff model for Ujena Bikini Jam in January 2008 which I was very happy to accept! I am looking foward to working with Bob again in Sydney in 2008 and meeting the rest of Ujena Crew, photgraphers and models.

Sydney is a great location for the shoot and for the Bikini Jam, so I hope to see you there!
