Marla is from the Denver/Littleton area. She had been modeling for only a few months when we started working together. She turned out to be the top model of all the tours and earned her way into this spotlight showcase with her talent and hard work.

Marla has the uncanny ability to connect with everyone around her. She has a sales, marketing and management background and understands the business aspects of a photo shoot such as preproduction planning, doesn’t waste time and money, needs minimal direction, has great range and versatility, offers her own suggestions during the shoot and is willing to do whatever it takes to “get” the shot.

I have included pics of her on another tour (Just Having Fun) with Lori Hudson. Although they had never met before the shoot and didn’t know each other, they are completely at ease and you can just get the feeling that they are the best of friends enjoying a Sunday afternoon together.

With her talent and tremendous work ethic she only gets better with each photo shoot. Marla handles the pressure as well as anyone but knowing what to do instinctively is her strongest quality. It was those same gut instincts that helped her survive that afternoon on April 20th at Columbine High School.
