Some of the shooting opportunities became available at the last minute with little time for preparation. The Ujena staff and Catherine Cross in particular, are always on the sidelines to help and got it right every time.
Catherine did everything in her power to make sure my fashion tours went as smooth as possible and provided support whenever necessary. There were several instances when she had to go out of her way to make sure clothing arrived on time. Her direction in developing this project during the planning stages made life easier down the road. Putting together a fashion shoot isn’t hard so it would be worth the effort to get in touch with Catherine and kick around some ideas and pick her brain from everything to managing the wardrobe, accessorizing, to make up tips. Since Ujena is nationwide, Catherine always seems to have contacts available locally.
This is our 2nd stop on the project and we visited the National Zoo, Washington streets, Annapolis waterfront and Atlantic Ocean beaches. The girls worked hard but didn’t mind playing hard either. We didn’t take this stuff too seriously yet still managed to get outstanding results. After the shoot we usually found a good restaurant or pub to relax in.
We made some lasting friendships along the way and you can expect to meet some of the models, up close and personal, with their own showcases in the future.
